Fixation - MoriSaku voice pair~
Once agian my obsession with the voice pair MoriSaku - (Morikawa Toshiyuki x Saurai Takahiro) has resurfaced all thanks to my recent addiction to Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. When it came out, I think I was too busy with another fixation thus I didn’t fangirl too long on the movie. Anyway due to the utter lack of decent Sephiroth x Cloud fics and my desperation of getting my hands on SephxCloud doujinshi, I had to revert to listening to my collection of MoriSaku BLCDs just to feed my hunger for this pair^^;
Of all their BLCDs, I found that their Slavers series has the closest similarity to their Sephiroth x Cloud ‘relationship’ and voice quality. After two years since I first heard Slavers Kiss, it’s still one of my favourite BLCDs^^ The drama *_*, Sakurai’s angsty performance, Morikawa-san’s dominating Saeki who was actually passionately in love with Shuichi, listening to it again after two years that my Japanese listening comprehension has improved, its grown even more arresting to my ears. Its such a pleasure to listen to this drama. I can even imagine this as an AU to the SephirothxCloud pair*^_____^*
Although there have been quite a few voice pairs who have caught my interest, MoriSaku will always be my number one top. The chemistry between Morikawa-san & Sakurai’s voices is just perfect! It’s just a shame that Sakupyon has stopped taking in new BLCD projects (which has led many us to believe that he has quit th BLCD industry) and he is just finishing with the old drama series’ which he has been contracted in. This means I’ve only got this Slavers series by Intercommunications and the Kedamonoseries by Leaf as my last means of MoriSaku feed T_T I just hope they don’t end anytime soon and that Katou Elena sensei decides to drag her Slavers series to a couple more volumes so I will have a few more dramas to this pair. *crosses fingers* (Now if only Sakurai would consider making a comeback to the industry one of these days^^;; One hears his true talent in these dramas. He shines in them, its such a pleasure *_*)
